Mother’s Day 2011

Hi Everyone,

In response to some recent feedback, I’m excited to announce that I will be holding my first ever Special Mini Photography Sessions for Mother’s Day this year!  One of the things I love about what I do is having the opportunity to meet some fabulous families and capture their special family moments.   I’m passionate about families having wonderful photographs that display the love of their lives whilst having a great experience and these Mother’s Day sessions have been designed with that in mind.

My Mother’s Day package will cost $300 and includes a forty five minute photography session outdoors for a family of four.  It also includes three 5 x 7 inch matted prints as well as one 8 x 12 inch matted print.  At the time of booking, we will also make a time for viewing these photos at my place in Randwick, where you will choose your favourite photos.  When you place your order, there will be an opportunity to get these framed or made into canvases or make some lovely albums at 10% off my normal prices.

Currently, I’ve listed two dates in May for these Mother’s Day sessions at either a Park (on the 21st May) or a Beach (on the 28th May) location.  Please note that a $100 deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due at the time of session.

These mini sessions are shorter than my normal photography session and if you have more than 2 kids, it’s best to book two back to back mini-sessions or simply book a normal photography session.   If you have a newborn, it’s probably best to book my normal photography sessions as more time is needed for those precious young ones!
This package makes for a wonderful Mother’s Day gift so do spread the word to your friends with kids!

Don’t miss out!

If you’re interested in getting some lovely photos of your family, or know a mum who deserves a special gift, please email me NOW on specials@mishkoh.com or ring me on 0416 150 152.

Here’s a recent brochure I sent out -

P.P.S Here’s some of the recent comments from my recent photography sessions -

“What a beautiful way to spend our weekend! Mish was engaging and funny and most of all patient.  I have a feeling Mish will be part of our lives for some time to come.  Beautiful images – capturing the spirits of our wonderful children.  Thank you Mish xxx” – Susan Harrison, Sydney
“Mish shows an amazing flair and enthusiasm for her photographic art.  She created an amazing array of images that are so inspiring and natural that they brought tears to our eyes”
– Ed & Amanda Harbor, Coogee
“Hi Mish,
Thank you so much for taking such amazing photos of our beautiful family! Our day at the park was fun and relaxing, as evident with the photos. You captured the very essence of our little man – fun, loving, sense of adventure, cheekiness; just to mention a few. Your eye for detail is impeccable!
The photos exceeded well above my expectations – I loved the photos so much I bought just about everything!   All our family and friends that have seen the photos have commented on how superb they are. What can we say, they are photos we will enjoy looking back on for years to come!
Thank you very much again! ‘Til next time!!!” – George & Genevieve Musgni-Bates, Melbourne

Danny + Renee’s Wedding

Firstly, HUGE congratulations to you both Danny and Renee!

Danny and Renee, you kept us all waiting for a while, but it was certainly worth the wait for this massive celebration:)

The day started off as I headed over to the girls, whilst my wonderful assistant Kellee headed over to the guys place.

Doesn’t Renee look absolutely stunning in her dress!

Everyone was calm and relaxed and with Renee and her bridesmaids dressed with plenty of time to spare,  we took a short stroll to the Hunters Hill wharf.

We headed back into the house to cool down in the aircon on this very warm day.  After finding a photograph of Renee as a child, we decided to have a bit of fun.  As you can tell by the second photo, Renee’s father has a great sense of humour!

It was so great seeing so many of their family and friends come together to witness the start of their new life together.  The church was packed full of love to celebrate this joyous occasion.

There were so many people involved with the preparation of this special day… including the beautiful flowers that were carefully arranged by Renee’s relative.

After the church ceremony, we headed to Centennial Park.  It was so wonderful to see Danny and Renee so comfortable and in love with each other.

After that, we headed to the Rocks for more fun!

The dinner reception was held at the beautiful Curzon Hall.

It was great listening to all the very heartfelt speeches, not to mention the first speech by Renee’s father that left us all in laughter!

The dance floor was very hot that night.. and it was great to see that it wasn’t just the adults who had plenty of fun!

Danny and Renee, thanks sooo much for trusting me to photograph your very special day.

Renee, I can see Danny’s loving care and protection for you in this next picture. May God bless you both richly as you begin your exciting journey as a married couple.

P.S  Please check out Kellee’s version of Danny + Renee’s wedding.  She was a great help on the day and did an awesome job.  Kellee, I’m looking forward to working with you again…   hopefully sometime soon!

Great shots Mish, it was such an awesome day. Can’t wait til next time :)

the sporty couple!

Hi all,

Here are some photos from another recent engagement photography session.  I first met Millie last year in my triathlon group (which by the way has the nicest and most motivated bunch of people!) called Balance.  And after talking to Millie a few times over the phone to organise our photo session, I knew instantly that we were going to have fun!

However after getting to know her a bit better, she’s not only sporty & fun, but she’s so cute when she’s around Ken… but more of that in the photos below!

Firstly – let me introduce you to them.  Meet Millie, the coolest personal trainer in Coogee.  And Ken, a commercial diver.  They are a such a sporty couple and true to their passion for sports, they first met whilst running!

They are both madly in love..

and I just find it so cute when they kiss – check out Millie’s leg

and her cute giggles!

They braved the gray skies that afternoon & had a picnic with some other games they love.  Can you believe they have a scrabble set on their bridal registry? How cool is that!

Thanks both for a fun afternoon and I can’t wait till your wedding!

xxoo, Mish:)

Nice. I like the backgrounds evoking different moods.

the happy couple!

I’ve known this couple for a while and when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I felt really privileged.

Danny and Renee are such a lovely couple and certainly know how to have fun together.   I just loved seeing how happy, content and comfortable they are together.   After many years of friendship,  it’s great that they are finally getting married!:)

Danny & Renee – thanks for the fun photography session.   Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves and I’m looking forward to your wedding next month!

xxoo,

Mish:)

Thanks!

To All Our Lovely Clients, Fans & Supportive Friends,

Thanks SO MUCH for an amazing 2010!  I’m truly grateful for your support this year..  I started Mish Koh Photography with a dream – to use my photography gift to bless others by capturing special moments that could be treasured forever.. and it seems fitting during this giving season to reflect upon this past year.

2010 was the first year that I launched my photography business Mish Koh Photography fulltime and it has been a HUGE year.   I’ve  learn STACKS – it’s not just great photography that you need to run a successful photography business.. but also marketing,  business , accounting,  writing skills for those blog updates, organisational skills to ensure that work-life balance!, IT skills for website/domain/blog, photoshop editing skills … AND not to forget great clients & amazingly supportive friends and solid faith:)

Thanks to ALL of you for your support in making this a great year.
If you told me that at the beginning of the year, that it would turn out the way it has.. I don’t think I would have believed it!

Some of the highlights since starting Mish Koh Photography include  -
▪    Getting recognised amongst peers and achieving several awards at an International Photography competition.. even placing 15 in the photojournalistic section!
▪    Gaining clientelle purely through search engine and not through word of mouth or social media (it proves SEO does actually work!!!) …
▪    Making the decision to photograph weddings once again .. and then getting my first wedding booked!
▪    Helping out with various charities  – such as Opportunity International, Oasis, c3 city church
▪    Quoting my first commercial photography job … due to embark on that exciting project next year
▪    And….. last and most importantly, meeting all you lovely couples, family.. and even pets!!    It certain has been a privilege to capture some or your special moments with you and your lovely families.  As I look back at the year, it’s been a real blessing to be there witnessing and capturing the love you have for each other!

For those of you who have supported me through encouraging words + prayers and all you facebook and blog fans.. this post is for you too!

Thank you ALL truly from the bottom of my heart.

What great memories has 2010 brought you? Why don’t you take a few moments to think about them now?  I would love to hear what those special moments have been for you!

Here’s a collection of some of my photos that have brought a smile to my face and helped me remember the joy, happiness, fun and the many blessings in life! .. I hope that they will remind you of your happy moments and remember all the great things of life too!

Wishing you ALL A Very Merry Christmas… & An Amazing 2011.  May it be your best year ever!
